What To Expect:
Initial sessions are an hour and follow-up visits are 30 minutes. Sessions may involve medication management, therapy, and discussions about beneficial lifestyle changes. The frequency and content of visits will be tailored to your individual needs. Treatment focus areas and therapeutic approaches are in Services (purple section) below.
Please note, we do not prescribe benzodiazepines (e.g. Xanax, clonazepam) or stimulant medications (e.g., Adderall, Vyvanse). This is due to pending federal government regulations on controlled substance prescribing by telemedicine. Most psychiatric medications are not affected by these regulations and can be prescribed with online only visits. We will work with you to find a safe, effective, and tolerable medication regimen tailored to your needs.
Fees and Insurance:
We partner with Headway to manage billing and administrative tasks, allowing us to focus on your care. Headway handles payments and insurance to streamline the process for you.

About Our Provider:
Hello! My name is Jennifer Griffith. I am an ANCC board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) with a Doctorate of Nursing Practice (DNP) from the University of Iowa, earned in 2015. My career journey began with a Bachelor's in Psychology and five years in social services. I then obtained a nursing degree and worked for six years in Neurology/Neurosurgery nursing before obtaining a doctoral degree as a PMHNP. With 7 years of experience as a psychiatric nurse practitioner in community mental health centers, I have treated a wide range of mental health conditions.
I started my current practice because I believe psychiatric care can be so much more than the current medical model provides patients. Engaging in active listening and providing time during sessions for you to share your concerns is essential to cultivating true change. You are not just a diagnosis. You are a unique individual whose mental, physical, and social health all impact your overall well-being. I am dedicated to providing a warm and supportive environment where you can find solace and healing. With a focus on compassion and personalized treatment plans, I am here to support you on in your journey to mental wellness.
Please see the Services (purple section) below for more information on practice focus areas and treatment approaches.
